Dear Families,

The day has arrived! We get to see all of our students tomorrow morning! It was so much fun seeing all of our students and families today at school. It was a day filled with joy and laughter.

Tomorrow is going to be a really fast day! Please have students at school by 7:25am so that they are ready and on-time to meet their classmates and get settled in. All students will go directly to the playground or to the cafeteria to get breakfast. Verify that they have money on their meal account (see details below).

Dismissal is promptly at 12:15pm. Please make sure that you have communicated with the school or with the teacher directly how your child is getting home. Dismissal always takes a little bit longer the first couple of days so please be patient with us. Make sure you have read the details below if you will be picking up your child.

Morning Drop-Off

Gates and office open at 7:10am. All students will go to the playground or cafeteria.

If you choose to use the loop for morning:

1. Please pull forward as much as possible.
2. Copper Creek staff will be there to greet and assist students if needed.
3. Have your child ready to exit the vehicle when you pull up to the curb. If you must get out of the vehicle to assist your child, please park.
4. Please follow all traffic signs in the parking lot and remember to be kind and courteous.

If you choose to use the parking lot for morning:

1. Please park and walk your child to the playground or breakfast gate where they enter the campus.
2. Please follow all traffic signs in the parking lot and remember to be kind and courteous.

If you choose to use the bus for morning:

1. We will have staff there to welcome and assist students if needed.

If your child walks or rides a bike to school, there are several crossing guard areas so they can cross safely.

Dismissal

School ends at 2:15pm except on Wednesday we end at 12:15pm.

If you choose to use the loop in the afternoon:

1. Have your sign with student information in the window on the driver side so it is visible to staff. You can get a sign from your teacher or the office at Meet the Teacher.
2. Your child will be called via the radio to meet you at the appropriate gate.
3. Staff will be assisting students, please do not have long conversations with staff as we do need to keep the traffic moving as quickly as possible.
4. If you must get out of the vehicle to assist your child, please park.
5. Please follow all traffic signs in the parking lot and remember to be kind and courteous.

If you choose to use the walk-up gate in the afternoon:

1. Have your sign with student information ready to show a staff member. You can get a sign from your teacher or the office at Meet the Teacher.
2. Staff will come out and collect the signs and dismiss the students to you.

If you choose to use the bus for afternoon:

1. We will have staff there to ensure they get on the appropriate bus.
2. Please use the Here Comes the Bus App to track all buses.

AMPHI School district uses an app called My Ride K-12.  Please click this link for more information. This link will have all the information that you need in regards to your child's transportation needs. Information has now been uploaded to this app for the upcoming school year. 

My Ride K-12 is a one-of-a-kind mobile app integrated with our transportation software that allows both you and your student to access estimated times of arrival or departure for your bus. This helps ensure that you and your student are on time for pick-ups and drop-offs while making the bus route more efficient. Sign up for push notifications to be automatically notified about changes in your student’s bus arrival, and to prevent you from having to frequently check the My Ride K-12 app for ETAs.

My Ride K-12 is now available for you to download on your Apple or Android mobile device. Simply search the app store for “My Ride K-12” to download and register yourself on the app. Please ensure that you change your password upon initially logging in, as this will help ensure secure login and user management moving forward. 

Parents can add money to your student meal account through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, If you don’t have access to the Portal yet, please contact the front office of your school. If you do have an account click: Parent Portal.
