Good Morning Parents,
The week of Halloween is always such a fun and exciting time! 🎃
We are collecting gently used costumes for students who may not have one this year. If you have any old costumes you’d be willing to donate, please bring clean costumes to the front office any morning this week.
Your generosity helps make sure every student can join in the fun!
We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone on Friday for our Halloween festivities! 👻✨

On Friday, October 31st, we will be holding our annual Halloween Parade! The parade will begin at 8:45 AM in the school courtyard. All parents are welcome to attend—please remember to sign in at the office before joining us.
Immediately following the parade, students will transition to the MPR for our Student of the Month Assembly and a special music presentation by our 3rd grade students.
We look forward to celebrating with our students and families!

This year students will be allowed to celebrate Halloween on October 31st with their classmates. Please follow the costume guidelines below when picking out a costume. We want this to be an enjoyable day for everyone.
1. Students may wear facial make-up. Make-up needs to be applied before coming to school, not during school hours. We have many young students on campus so please avoid blood or depictions of violence.
2. Please avoid masks, students will not be able to wear them during the school day.
3. Costumes must adhere to our clothing guidelines regarding modesty.
4. Students should keep any props at home. Props include but are not limited to: swords, brooms, crutches, etc. Props cause a distraction during the school day and may become lost or broken.
5. Please ensure that your child's costume is conducive to a learning environment.
6. Students may wear inflatable costumes, but teachers may ask for them to not have them inflated during class time.
7. Students MUST wear shoes - slippers are not permitted.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the Copper Creek Fall Festival such a memorable event! We had an incredible time celebrating the season with our community. Whether you explored the spooky Haunted Hospital, danced to the lively beats from the DJ, enjoyed creative face painting, took part in the exciting cake walk, or joined in any of the many other fun activities, your presence made the day truly special.
This festival was a fantastic opportunity to come together with families and friends, enjoy the vibrant spirit of Fall, and create lasting memories. We are so grateful for the hard work of our volunteers, staff, and everyone who helped bring this event to life. Your enthusiasm and support are what make Copper Creek such a wonderful place to be.

It is important that we recognize and celebrate all cultures within our school community. This week, our preschool and kindergarten students had the wonderful opportunity to learn about Diwali, the Festival of Lights!
A big thank-you to Mrs. Vemula, who visited our classrooms to share the traditions and meaning behind this beautiful celebration. Students enjoyed hearing stories, seeing traditional items, and participating in fun, hands-on activities that helped bring the holiday to life.
We’re so grateful for opportunities like this to help our students learn about and appreciate the diverse cultures that make our community so special!
