Message from the Principal

Stephanie Hillig principalDear Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Copper Creek! Whether your child is just starting Kindergarten or moving through the upper grades, we’re so excited to have them here. Our school is a place where curiosity, kindness, and creativity come together, and we’re proud to be part of your child’s learning journey.

We believe that strong partnerships between home and school make all the difference. When we work together, our students feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to do their best.

Here are a few simple ways to support your child’s growth:

  • Stick to a routine: A regular schedule for homework and bedtime helps children feel safe and ready to learn.
  • Read every day: A short time spent reading together each day builds skills and strengthens bonds.
  • Set screen limits: Encourage balance by setting boundaries on electronics, especially during homework or family time.
  • Celebrate effort: Focus on what your child is learning and how they’re growing, not just grades.
  • Stay connected: Use ParentSquare to keep in touch with teachers and stay updated on school events.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We’re looking forward to a wonderful year together!

Warm wishes,

Stephanie Hillig
